Back On The Ropes
If you follow our blog or Twitter feed, you've probably spotted that we've been busy with some non-rope activity just lately. Namely, this spanking video-clip trilogy that we shared on Twitter: Late for the Party, and a new Schoolgirl Judy spanking photo story: Judy in the Headmaster's Study.
It's not to say we've completely neglected our ropes, but they have been a bit in the back seat for a couple of weeks. We've made an effort over the weekend to get in some practice and this is one of the photos of a shibari gote tie, in a rather naughty French Maid outfit. Keep an eye on our blog over the next few days if you'd like to see the rest of the photoset.
And, OK, maybe there was a bit of spanking too. It would have been rude not to, really!! ;-) x
It's All About the Image
The setup here is pretty simple; black backdrop and a single strobe bounced from a white umbrella. Low key photography is something we're still working on, and controlling the light in a small space is not easy.
One thing we've been experimenting with in this set is to bring the light in very close - here it's literally a couple of inches out of shot to the right of the frame. It means you can turn down the light several stops and there's much less spill onto your backdrop.
Still very much a work in progress, but I think it's an improvement over our last low-key setup.
